They crew of Carli attended the Ashmount Rally barbeque last night. Unfortunately we had to go by car as we did not have enough time to get up there by boat.

Ashmount is in the village of South Stoke, upstream of Goring.

The rally was a chance for members of YBW.com Thames Forum to meet face to face, sink a few sherbets and generally set the world to rights.

Claire, John and Simba had taken "No Regrets" up to the event, so the mighty Birchwood 25 was represented in the line up of moored vessels.

"Carli" is a Birchwood 25 powered by the mighty Sea Panther diesel on shaft. She is based at Bray marina on the River Thames.
