Over on the GOBA forum, they're talking about spider repellants. The fave seems to be something called Amiral which is a spray. Any of you guys use them? If so, how? This year, we've certainly seen an increase in our boat's resident spider population. The other day, I spotted that a simple double-loop of rope over the railing held 6 of the fellas! And we're not talking about the little incey-wincey jobs here -- it's the sort who look at you as if you might just be their next meal! ![]()

Before we went out for a spin the other day, we went round with the vac and got hundreds of the little blighters. Even so, as I was reversing out of the mooring, one about the size of my hand dropped onto my head from the roof, scuttled across my shoulder and legged it away over the side. It had obviously seen me reversing before!
