Purely Alex. I was leaving it all to him!

Ok, he did Powerboat 2 the same as I did. But he also has:

RYA Levels 1, 2 & 3 Dinghy Sailing (taken with the Royal Navy on HMS Bristol)

BCU 1 & 2 Star Canoe & Kayak (and he is doing 3 star this month)

and he can do that funny rowing/sculling thing where they go backwards yelling "Wake!".

So he is a bit good at boating...

(Oh, check out Bray Cruiser news... he won a cup for Best First Time Entrant and another for Best Cadet in the club boat handling contest. Sarah got Best Lady Skipper!)

Anybody want to rent a crew?

Must say Ramage. I was impressed with Alex's and yourself's handling of the boat tanking down the weir stream. Certainly worried a few members for a moment.

Including the crew

They seem to be a very easy boat to handle in dodgy situations in my experience so far, but I wouldn't want to have to reverse out of a Wierstream like that I must admit  :/

I'll bet you pulled out a few stops to turn her around eh?

Now you should know by now Birchwoods do not reverse.

We just waited until we had gone past the boat that was aground, then Alex put the helm hard over and put the power on.

Around she went with no problems!

The lock-keeper had to shut the weir to refloat the boat that was aground!

At this moment in time, it appears I have been scammed....
