We are off to Longridge today in Carli. We are running a Sea Scout summer camp there for a week, so if you are passing give us a wave!

Our Explorers will be out in a white 15 foot boat with a Yamaha 9.9   outboard learning to handle a power boat. (The boat is called Arctic Fox X).

"Carli" is a Birchwood 25 powered by the mighty Sea Panther diesel on shaft. She is based at Bray marina on the River Thames.

Should be passing that way at some time next week depending on how organised we are getting away on time on Wednesday.  Between now and then we will be around the datchet, windsor area at the mooring, annual bbq today, Polo at Windsor Sat, cant wait

At last I have a few weeks off and am off to the boat today for the annual mooring bbq, will then stay on the boat until Tuesday before picking up No 1 son and his friend and starting our annual cruise up river, hope to say hello to Byron on the way through and this year have no plans to reach anywhere. Just take it as it comes and end up where we end up.

The old girl has just had her 200 hour service, both outboards also serviced and a new stowable on board dingy in place, sadly the good old quicksilver airdeck was impossible to take with us without davits, so is living in the dining room right now.

Cant wait to get out on the river and hope the weather will be kind to us. Anyone else out and about the next week or so?

Nick
