How many more Birchwoods can Bray cruiser club cope with?  Sent my membership form off last week.

Also finally off to Bisham Abbey on the 27th to get the VHF SRC course finally under the belt. Anyone else going along?
Was going to do it in April but the company I tried to contact then was so laid back it couldn't be arsed to answer emails and phone calls. Hence why Bisham Abbey was called.

I'm trying to get time off for it.

Meanwhile, we need to exchange Mobile phone numbers

Yes some friends did the course there a while ago and said it was really good.

So, while i'm here. How is the Birchwood massive? All boats ok and no problems I hope.

I haven't seen the old girl for a couple of weeks, but she was resplendant at that time, having just been polished.

I hope it's all OK when we transfer her down to Bray though!

Mike Gates has kindly donated one of his crew to do the transfer, and as it was a firm offer a few days ago, we accepted...

However, how's this for a result:

The Saturday night we have a party and BBQ at T&K, and then on Sunday, at about the time we arrive, Bray are having a party/ BBQ...

So, we look forward to meeting all of our new Marina friends and Club members. We will truly be the 'Upper Thames Birchwood Massive'

Cheers Ian

Well hopefully see you in the marina. Perhaps all the birchwoods could sound their horns upon your arrival. Nothing like winding Freeman owners up!!

Also the forums looking great now too.

Safe journey

A '21 Birchwood salute'

Oh, I like that...

Our annual cruise is becoming more reality than idea methinks

Good to see you in passing today!
Took me a while longer to get back today as we spent Saturday night in Windsor and were woken at five by the sound of preparations for the Windsor Triathlon. Bloody mad hoard of fools swimming in the Thames at 6am. Was great to watch and got a good position on the Brocas, and by the time it was all over we fell back to sleep till mid afternoon and had to get back. Oh and the only real low point of the day was seeing George W's Chopper!!

Catch up with you there soon and hopefully my Bray Cruiser membership will be through soon so we can join in the activities. Been at Bray for four years and only just got round to joining!!

Great to see you too!

We had a fairly long day, having left at 08:30 and cruised remorselessly down from T&K non-stop!

The old boat behaved impeccably, although the hard-wired Pioneer remote has ceased to function, not impressed as it's the newest thing on the frickin boat  smile/mad.gif

Anyway....enjoyed a nice BBQ with a few friendly faces from BCC, and have finally arrived home!

It's nice to be at Bray, we like the environment and company
