Sorry, was out on Carli at 4pm.

Red boards? They are not kidding. River is up several feet overflowing the banks and the flow is bloody quick...12kph at idle!

Going upstream behind the island outside Bray Marina best we could do was 5.5 kph.

Got back safe and sound but it was a little worrying out there!

"Carli" is a Birchwood 25 powered by the mighty Sea Panther diesel on shaft. She is based at Bray marina on the River Thames.

Popped up to the mooring last night after reading the YBW forum posts on river conditions.  Thankfully as no bloody emails from EA advising me the damn river was in flood again.

Up a good foot since we left on Sunday, Tristan is floating just above the mooring edge by a few inches, thankfully someone had lengthened the mooring lines for me.  Will pop back today and hope it's dropped sufficiently so that she does not end up on the bank.  Can't spend another week on her like last year waiting for the river to drop and stopping her ending up on the bank, mmmmh or can I looking athe the sun here today it would be a nice place to be lol

We're looking at Marinas this weekend, sounds like it's just as well  :/

'No Regrets' is a beautiful Birchwood 25 II berthed in Bray, on the River Thames.
