I need to replace the two rear windows on my Birchwood 33. the were Marsh Walters sliding windows but the rubbers had perished beyond repair, looks like I need to order some new ones. there are no manafactures in Ireland so I was wondering if anybody can recommend somebody reliable in the UK

Many Thanks

Keith H

Hi there and welcome to BOA. The only company that springs to mind is Seals+Direct, tel. 0845 226 3345  or  www.sealsplusdirect.co.uk   They can supply a very wide range of seals etc. Wish you luck.

Cheers Jimbo  I should have been more clear I am now looking at replacing the whole windows not just the seals.I was wondering if anybody knew where I could get the windows made. they are 41" by 12" approx. they did slide but I would prefere if the new ones opened outwards

Welcome to BOA. Our first big Birchwood (most of us have 25s).

You could try:

http://www.eagleboatwindows.co.uk/

I have not tried them, but the RNLI seem to like them!

or

http://www.griffinmarine.org.uk/windows.htm

may be able to help.

I cannot find any in Ireland though....

"Carli" is a Birchwood 25 powered by the mighty Sea Panther diesel on shaft. She is based at Bray marina on the River Thames.
