Well after a weeks hard work of polishing, antifouling, painting and sign writing St. Kitts is back into the water for the season. Engine started after filling up the tank so nothing else left to do but to take her down river for a short run. Everything went well and a pleasant cruise was had. However you realise that the lay off from steering for 6 months tends to produce a slightly wandering course; but this soon cleared. It feels so great to be back on the water again. Was I the only one on the water since there appears to be little traffic or postings?

Over the Easter weekend, I was busy fixing (ie making) the fridge door and re-siting the navigators seat and checking the batteries and... and...

I think next weekend will have to be our season opener.

Hi Seadog
I'd love to do the trip out to sea and up to Yarmouth sometime. I've got the horsepower but no back-up outboard or radio at the moment. If ever I'm properly equipped, I'll need some company for the maiden voyage; how are you fixed?

Any good?  Our white fenders were in little blue socks for 2 years and they're now quite badly stained.  We resorted to bleach in the end and even that hasn't completely shifted the black stains.
