Hows about some club clothing?

A cap perhaps? (Vistapress can do these for very modest sums...)

I vote for velcro-mounted braid so that an unruly crewmember can be publicly stripped of their rank with a loud ri-i-i-I-I-IPPPP!

I have found these people who can provide the following clothing with a Logo and a Header ( Birchwood Owners Association) for the following prices:-
Tee Shirts                       £5.50  ea.
Polo Shirts                      £8.50  ea.
Sweat Shirts                     £10.00.ea.
Fleeces                          £15.50.ea.

Hats and Caps are also available.

"Fruit of the Loom" shirts and fleeces are used, so the quality should be fine. A variety of coloured shirts are available, but it helps if a standard colour for the printing is chosen. Regarding sizes, it is perhaps better if you order by actual measurement in inches, and they will make an allowance of say 2". This removes the problem of variances in manufacturers sizes.  Suggest that we wait and see what interest is generated first before ordering, but the tel.no. is 07966522704 and ask for Angie.  Incidently she owns a Birchwood 22.

OK, so shall we agree on the colour scheme?

Given the Silver border and Red logo, the only dodgy colours would be Grey, in which case the border would be compromised, and then silly colours such as Yellow...

Perhaps options in White, Red and Black?

How about:-

White T Shirts (Nice on sunny days)
Red polo's
Navy Sweatshirts
Black fleeces (Look nice against T's and Polos)

Oh, and don't forget the fecking hats eh?

Hats in Black, go with the Fleece on a cold winters day aboard...
Any comments?

The option of having ones Boat name wouldn't go amiss either  smile/hapface01.gif

Tee Shirts                       £5.50  ea.
Polo Shirts                      £8.50  ea.
Sweat Shirts                     £10.00.ea.
Fleeces                          £15.50.ea.

On this basis, I would order 4 of everything (2xM 1xL 1x XL) and equip crew and keep a few for guests too!

The caps could simply have 'BOA' instead of the full logo, but keeping the anchor. I like the Anchor...

I have today spoken to Angie, who will joining our association, and she has confirmed that postage needs to be added. So if we send in one order for all of the items, together with a cheque, then she will confirm what extra is needed for poatage.

I want :-    1 -      Fleece      ( Blue)  Size XXL
1 -      Sweat Shirt ( Blue)  Size XXL
2 -      Polo Shirts ( Blue)  Size XXL

Under the Logo on the front I want -  St. Kitts
All printing in White.
I reckon that the cost will be £42.50  plus postage.
I would suggest that some one gets all of the orders together with a cheque for the total amount and posts it off. I am more than happy to send to who ever does this my home address for direct postage so perhaps we could pay our postage ourselves. What do you think?

Lets perhaps set a 1 week deadline for this batch?

I don't mind holding 2 of each items in popular sizes for subsequent resale....

Better chuck my hat into the ring, so to speak. Sounds great!

Just another thing. Can we get a burgee made?
I'll drill another mast into the boat if I have to.

Brilliant idea!

I've just finished the 8th coat of varnish on my mast, so it will look a treat with that burgee fluttering from it!

I'll have:

1. a burgee
2. 1 x black cap
3. 2 x white T-shirts  (48" probably XL)
4. 1 x black fleece  (48" probably XL)

And I just know that I'll look handsome and dashing.

Just to confirm the final designs, if nobody has any problem with me assuming designer status, does this sound nice?

T-Shirt: A White T-Shirt with the 'Birchwood Owners Association' full logo emblazoned on the LEFT chest, and a full size logo across the entire back.
This will be a nice item to wear in hot weather to stay cool (Essential with a full B25 cockpit...)

Polo Shirt: A Bright red Polo for more formal events where a collar is required. Once again, the full logo on the LEFT breast, but, to smarten things up, a BOA Burgee motif located on the RIGHT sleeve, as a classy twist.
Ideal for club BBQ's etc, shouldn't show too many spilt food and drink stains during the evening, and the Red collar will show above the optional Black fleece, when worn.

Fleece: Finished in Black, with, BOA Burgee motif on the top of each sleeve, and the individual Boat name on the LEFT Breast.

Cap: Finished in Light Grey/ Khaki with full logo across the front. This will be more resistant to stains than a white one, but still contrast nicely with the T-Shirt, Polo or Fleece, as it fits in with the Black/Red/White/Grey palate used across the range.

Burgee: As above, in the usual size.

This ensemble should work with Jeans, Black or Khaki Chinos/ Khakis, possibly even White trousers at events, and look good onboard, or along the Riverbank!

It might be a good idea for the lady concerned to join the forum, and post some finalised images so we can place the (Now quite considerable) order with her!

If anybody has any better idea's, please feel free to post them up

Changed my mind on colours; I will go for the suggested Polo Shirt(2)  and (1)Fleece, all XXL chest, plus a Burgee. Take my order now please!!!
Would it be best to get a firm price for each persons order including postage, and to include their address.
Also what about a bit of contact with Angie by the administrators; could result in an even better deal.

looks good to me, would it be an idea to put a order form on here, save everyone trying to order via a posting?
