| Author : | Topic: Propeller Specification for Birchwood 25's | Bottom |
| APRIL ROSE Posts : 24 Deck Swabber |
Hi,I'm afraid there probably wasn't a standard spec as different gearboxes were used even the J type had variations which could affect the prop size and pitch, also boats destined for inland waterways would have a different spec(fine pitch)as opposed to a course pitch for coastal work. Best wait until it's out and see what you've got and if you've been happy with it's performance replace like for like. You shouldn't have to pay for a second complete lift out as a yard doesn't have to completely lift the boat to replace a prop they just hoist up the stern. |

Hi April Rose, thanks for the info. Since posting my question I have received a call from someone on our river who has a prop available for a B25 petrol. So problem sorted! Regards Alan. | |||
