Hi Guy's now I know we have been down this road before, but due to the fact that a Richardson's hire boat hit me so hard while I was moored on Sunday that he has punched a hole through the starboard bow (not a Cling on in sight!!!) I need to find a supplier of Gelcoat for Delta. you know that sort of yellow/mustard/beigey bl--dy colour.
It is all being done under the insurance but the boat yard keeps muttering things like it will be a bugger to match that colour
Grump grump.
SO,  Pretty Please can anyone  HELP

Sorry to hear your bad news - unfortunately I havent a clue about the gel coat - I resparyed my hull - got spot on colour match though!.
I really think more should be done about some of the idiots they let on hire cruisers though, I was on the Ant (I'm moored at Broadsedge marina at Stalham) a couple of weeks ago and soem of the time it was frightening, 40 footers flying down the river about 10 foot apart! Wish I knew the answer its surprising there arent more serious accidents.

Hi Stuart, many thanks for your super quick reply,I would not mind but this damage was done at Thurne mouth and there was over a hundred yards of mooring empty and the guy came in with the tide and an onshore wind and bumped all the way until he smashed into me!! Ouch!!
I do think 20 minutes instruction is not enough, but there you go
We must keep a stiff upper lip A who't
happy boating

Its barely 20 minutes is it, the trouble is when there is a group of 10 lads pretty boozed up its a bit of a thing to take on, anyway lets not get nto it, as you say happy boating.

Hi. I came across this on ebay they seem to have a fair range of pigments already available and there write-up seems to suggest they might be able to blend others or now someone who does. Especially if they knew how many Birchwoods there were afloat so therefore the prospect of a reasonable demand.
I for one would be happy to keep a pot of pigment in the locker in case of scratches or worse, so keep us posted if this looks promising and I'm sure one of us will have a piece of hull which has been cut out for a heater inlet/outlet which could be used as a sample.
