I'm thinking of replacing the headlining of my hard top because it now sagging - all the foam backing has disintegrated, anyone got any tips on the best method?

Obvious suggestion: Use the old one as a template for the new.

Someone suggested to me that I might use carpet in place of my slightly saggy headlining. I'm not sure...

'Nimue' is our Birchwood 25 berthed at Tiptree on the River Great Ouse. - http://www.nimue.co.uk

Tricky one, as carpet always looks like the inside of a Hippies Transit camper van doesn't it?

A proper job is worthwhile, and with an air gap to minimise condensation, like mine has. It works well!

'No Regrets' is now a beautiful Broom 30, berthed in Bray, on the River Thames. I used to own a Birchwood, honest!

My headlining goes under the wooden surround for the hardtop - is it the same on 25s? I dont really want to loosen the hardtop off to get a new one under so will have to see if I can cut it really acurately, I think if I us the old one as a template it wont be accurate enough (it is in 2 parts) due its age and sagginess!
Anyone know of a good supplier? I looked on the net found a company called Hawke - anyone know of them?
