My engine is the crossflow 1600cc marinised by CT marine. Just from experience last year which could have led to a very serious incident, please check your fuel lines and connections. Especially where the fuel line connects to the carburettor. I had the joint re-seated as per the survey report in 2006 showing it was held to the carb by cable ties!! It was re attached by a very reputable Marine engineer with a form of epoxy resin due to no mechanical joint and the line came detached from the carburettor a year later pouring neat petrol over the Engine!!! It seems a standard procedure to glue them in, but subsequently the carb has been sent to watermota for re conditioning and modification and all is ok now

It seems this is a known problem with the carb fitted to the Sea Tiger. It is mentioned in a couple of articles that I bought from IPC.

"Silver Dragon" is a Birchwood 33 based at Bray marina.
