Quick question...

How do I remove the Port/Strbd/Stern nav lights?  There looks to be a screw underneath but I think that can only be reached if there's no wire going into the light.

Is there and easy way along the lines of twist to the left and a quick tug?

If they are the same as mine if you look closely down from the top there is a small lever you move either to the left or right and then they should just lift off! Easy!

Ah! I wondered if it was something like that!  Mine are like this:

but I don't have an absolutely vertical photo so I can't see a lever.  I guess I'll have to wait until I next get up to the boat to try it out and report back.

Thanks!

Hi,
have just removed my naviagtion lights for cleaning. The plastic part which the wires go into underneath the steel light housing should twist 45 degress then can be lowered out of the lamp (this is the bulb holder assembly) You can then get to the screw that's behind it. With the screw removed ease up the steel lamp body keeping it flat with the panel and it will lift off its mounting lug fixed to the body panel. Hope this makes sense!

Ah, now that makes sense!  Yes, I can see how that could work!

I shall have a go at that at the weekend and report back.
