hi, wondered if any one has info on fitting calorifier, just got a c warm 18 litre and expansion vessel but am having problems finding where to take flow and return off engine for the coil, fitting kit has two tees approx 35mm either end with 15 take off in middle for coil, held pipes on engine and know where i could take flow from but dont know where to put return, thought on pipe to stern where exhausts but would need different sise tee as bigger, but after chat with a ford inboard specialist they said i should take off engine block and return elsewhere, im confused, any help much appreciated,it is a ford watermota 80 hp but i dont know if it is seawolf sea tiger or sea leopard the boat is a 1978 if that helps. many thanks

Hi Ian, If your engine is a ford 1600cc crossflow petrol engine it would be the Sea tiger, the same as I have got.
To plumb in the chlorifier is quite simple but has to be done correctly.
I Got the information from the Freeman Owners club, (they run with the same engine/gearbox ).
If I could find out how to attach the diagrams onto the B O A Forum pages, they would show you how to do it !!!!.
To try and explain how to do it is very hard,  as it involves removing the pressure release spring and ball and the thermostat
bypass hose and blanking off the thermostat housing 1/2 inch hole with a plug, turning round the housing and re enstalling
the spring and ball into a short length of hose and connecting it to the "T" piece. Where the bypass hose had been connected to the block, is where you connect your other hose
If you want to contact me through the private message section
and give me your E mail address I will then be able to send you a copy of the diagrams

Regards
