I think we just might do!

Nice to have you aboard shipmate

'No Regrets' is now a beautiful Broom 30, berthed in Bray, on the River Thames. I used to own a Birchwood, honest!

Hi Stuart
I've just discovered the Forum. I have a 22 (see my new post) and moored at Waveney River Centre. I live in Leicestershire so I wont be able to visit as often I as I'd like. The marina is worth a visit if you are ever in the area.
Cheers

Hi
Nice to hear from someone else with a 22 - they are mostly 25s on here - maybe 22 owners havent discovered the internet yet! Or they are too busy working to save up for a 25!
I'm up in Stalham on the northern broads I havenet had the time or nerve to brave Breydon water and venture south, fortunately I only live an hour from the marina so get the boat fairly (but nowhere near enough!) often.
Have you had your leak sorted out yet! What was it? - what engine have you got?

I suspect there are more 25 owners here as there are simply more 25s on the water, not sure how many 22s were built but I believe that about 1500 25s were built and I bet a good proportion are still going strong. I see a few 22s here on the Great Ouse river system but nothing like the numbers of 25s. Indeed we usually outnumber all the other models

I was going to mention that you shouldn't forget to post a photo of your boat in the 'Birchwood Boat Images' library, but I see that PhotoBucket is down for maintenance!

Maybe you could find your boat on GoogleEarth or MS LiveEarth?  There's a thread somewhere with some piccies of our boats taken from miles above...

Hi Stuart

Please forgive my ignorance for not responding to your previous question; I've only just noticed. Yes, 'Constance' is now back in water at a cost of £1200. New gaitor was fitted and the leg serviced. I've spent the last few weeks working on cosmetic improvements. Have had cushions recovered at very little cost (Son's girlfriend's Mother machined them for free), and I've built 2 lockers onto which the seats will be fixed. I'm quite proud of the finished result and will post pics when they're housed. I understand the 'Breydon thing'; venturing over in your own craft is a bit different to taking a hired boat across. I've not had time to travel far myself due to time and repairs etc.
Cheers
John
